Before you book

Useful answers, without the runaround.

Where do Able Charters trips depart from?

Our larger Bacardi charters depart mainly from Gem Pier in Williamstown, while our smaller, faster fishing boat operates from Werribee South. Selected private charters may also depart from Beacon Cove, St Kilda Pier or Collins Landing, depending on the charter type and availability.

Do I need my own fishing equipment?

No. Shared and exclusive fishing charters include quality rods, reels, bait and tackle. You are welcome to ask us what personal items to bring when you enquire.

How many people can come aboard?

The Bacardi is licensed for up to 20 passengers on fishing charters and up to 25 passengers for private cruising. The practical group size depends on the trip you choose.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

Safety comes first. The skipper may postpone or cancel a trip because of unsuitable weather, mechanical issues or insufficient shared-charter numbers. The applicable options are set out in our booking conditions.
