What fish can we catch in Port Phillip Bay?
Depending on the season and conditions, common targets include snapper, King George whiting, flathead, squid and gummy shark. Fishing is never guaranteed, but the skipper selects the plan for the best available opportunity on the day.
Do I need a Victorian fishing licence?
Most anglers need a current Victorian Recreational Fishing Licence unless an exemption applies. Buy or check your licence with the Victorian Fisheries Authority before boarding.
Can we book the whole boat?
Yes. Exclusive four-hour and five-hour fishing charters reserve the Bacardi for your group. The base price includes up to 15 passengers, with space for up to five additional fishing passengers at the published per-person rate.
Do you run fishing charters from Werribee South?
Yes. Able operates a smaller, faster fishing-only boat from Wyndham Harbour in Werribee South. Adults are $180 per person, children are $120 per person and a private charter is $2,000. All trips require a minimum of six passengers.
